About The West Valley Jail
The largest detention center in the county of San Bernardino, the WVDC can house up to 3,300 inmates at any given time. Housing inmates who are currently undergoing pretrial and arraignment. After California law was made for substitute arraignment hearings, the West Valley Detention Center was one of the first county jails to implement Video Hearings due to the high incarceration rates in San Bernardino County.
Located North of the 10 freeway and South of the 210 freeway right off of Etiwanda Ave.
Free parking is available for the families and professionals who have scheduled visits for inmates. New laws created in 2017 allow the sheriffs and deputies to ask for proof of a driver’s license and registration for visitors who are entering the facility. Abide by all driving laws before entering any government property.
